# How do I turn my own pattern or chart into a PDF?

https://rowandround.app/features/pdf-export · Unlock · Kallos Labs

> Row & Round exports the patterns you write and the charts you draw as a PDF, on A4 or US Letter paper. The PDF has the title, your name as designer if you add it, the rows or the chart with its key, and page numbers.

## How it works

Pick the paper size and send the PDF from the share sheet to print, save to Files or send it to a friend. Only what you made in the app can be exported: imported PDFs are never shared from the app, because they belong to their designers. PDF export is part of the one-time unlock.

## When people use it

- Printing a chart to keep in your project bag
- Sharing a pattern you wrote with a friend or a group

## Questions

### Can I export a pattern PDF I imported?

No. Imported patterns stay private in the app; only your own patterns and charts are exported.
