How do I write my own knitting pattern?
The Row & Round pattern writer builds a pattern from blocks: a single row, a range such as "Rows 1 to 8: k2, p2", a repeat, a heading or a note. It numbers every row and sets the lot out as a tidy page, and you knit from it with the same bar and counters.
UnlockHow it works
The writer unrolls ranges and repeats into numbered rows, marks right side and wrong side, and writes Row or Rnd to suit your project. A repeat block can have its own counter and tells you which pass you're on, like "Pass 3 of 4". Abbreviations such as k2tog live in one list shared by all your patterns, which starts with a basic set you can edit. Anything you write can go out as a PDF. The pattern writer comes with Row & Round Unlock.
